Source Mantra Inc. (“Source Mantra”) knows that you care how information about you is used and shared. This notice describes Source Mantra’s privacy policy for our web site (the “Site”) including all online services and functions.

Overview

In general, using our site as a site visitor may be considered anonymous.  We do not engage in any activity that will personally identify our site visitors.

We use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server, to administer our website, and to refine our site based on which features people use most often.  Your IP address is also used to help identify you and to gather broad demographic information.

Registration

In general, no registration is required to use our Site.  If you wish to apply for jobs on our Site, you are not required to create a username or password, but you will be required to submit personal information such as your resume. See Job Applications below.

Cookies

A cookie is a small text file that is stored on a user’s computer for record-keeping purposes. Source Mantra uses cookies on the Site.

Source Mantra uses both “session ID cookies” and “persistent cookies.”  Source Mantra uses session cookies to make it easier for you to navigate the Site. A session ID cookie expires when you close your browser. If you check “remember me on this computer” when logging in to the Site, Source Mantra also sets a persistent cookie to store your username passwords, so you do not have to enter it more than once. The persistent cookie also enables Source Mantra to track and target the interests of users to enhance the experience on the Site. The persistent cookie is removed when you uncheck the “remember my email address” check box.

Your web browser allows you to control and limit cookies on your computer.  If you reject cookies, you may still use the Site, but your ability to use some areas or functions of the Site may be limited.

We sometimes collect anonymous information from visits to our website to help us provide better customer service.  This anonymous information is sometimes known as “click stream data”.  We may use this data to analyze trends and statistics and to help us provide you with a better customer service.  Cookies can be used to provide you with tailored information from a website.

Job Applications:

This Site may request additional information from you if you choose to apply for a job online.You may be asked to provide contact information (such as name and address)and job history such as a resume.  Information that you provide in this way may be used in determining whether you are a consultant that meets are current or future needs and to contact you.

We provide consulting services to Fortune 500 clients and smaller companies.  If there is a good fit between your resume and a current project we may provide your resume to our clients in order for them to evaluate your skills relevant to the project they require.  In some cases we work as a team with other consulting service providers on projects.  In such cases you resume may be shared with these other team members.  We assume that you consent to such sharing of your information when you submit your online application.

We may also keep your personal information in order to contact you if a future opportunity seems to be a good match for your skills. If you wish to have your files removed from our database send us an email at info@sourcemantra.com

If there are prospective employers who you do not wish us to share your information, such as your current employer, we will do our best to honor your request.  You should be aware, however, that we cannot guarantee that your present employer will not learn of your application. You should consider this risk in deciding whether to submit an application.

We treat the personal information you supply in connection with your application for a job as confidential.  We do not sell your personal information to anyone, and we only share your information where we believe that there is potential for your employment as part of the consulting team on that project.

Any information that we have collected or stored about you may be transferred to a future purchaser of our company and/or its assets.  The data collected is stored in a secure server with our ISP which will take periodic backups of it but will not give or sell them to anyone.

Feedback to Source Mantra

Source Mantra has feedback functionality on the Site that allows you to submit comments, suggestions, or bugs found. Source Mantra may collect your name or username and email address in order to follow up with you or thank you for a suggestion.

Anonymous Data

Source Mantra may track the Site to analyze trends, administer the Site, track your actions and use of the Site, record transactions, and gather demographic information for aggregate use. Such analysis is not linked to personally identifiable information.

Source Mantra may share aggregated demographic and usage information with its partners.  This aggregated information is not linked to any personal information that can identify any individual person.

This Site may contain links to other sites. Source Mantra is not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. Source Mantra encourages users to be aware when they leave the Site and to read the privacy statements of sites that collect personally identifiable information. Protection of Minors

Children under the age of 13 are not permitted to register on this Site or use any functionality for which registration is required.

Business or Asset Transfer or Sale

Source Mantra may be sold, might sell or buy businesses or assets of businesses, or Source Mantra might merge with another business. In such transactions, customer information generally is one of the transferred business assets. Also, in the event that Source Mantra, a line of business of Source Mantra, or substantially all the assets of Source Mantra are transferred, customer information may well be one of the transferred assets. Source Mantra does not intend to sell, share, or rent information obtained on this Site other than as discussed in this privacy policy.

Changes in This Privacy Policy

If Source Mantra decides to change its privacy policy, Source Mantra will post those changes on Source Mantra’s Site so Source Mantra’s users can remain aware of what information Source Mantra collects, how Source Mantra uses it, and under what circumstances, if any, Source Mantra discloses it.

Residents of the State of California, under the California Civil Code, have the right to request from companies conducting business in California a list of all third parties to which the Company has disclosed personal information during the preceding year for direct marketing purposes and a disclosure of the shared information. This Site qualifies for the alternative option. Its privacy policy provides you with information on how you may opt-out from the use of your personal information by third parties for direct marketing purposes. Therefore, we are not required to maintain or disclose a list of the third parties that received your personal information during the preceding year for marketing purposes.

Delete/Deactivate

This Site gives users the following option for removing their information from our databases to not receive future communication’s or to no longer receive our service: To delete your record from our database, send us email at Sourcemantra.com/support.
